Living Brave Through Breast Cancer is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, founded in September of 2017. Our mission is to be the premier provider of support to women and men diagnosed with breast cancer within the first three to five years. We provide emotional support, educational resources, and community connections to help individuals navigate their journey with courage and resilience.
What We Offer
At Living Brave Through Breast Cancer, we offer a range of programs designed to assist those affected by breast cancer. These include peer support groups, wellness workshops, educational seminars on treatment options, and access to resources that empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health. Our community is built on compassion and understanding, fostering a safe space for sharing experiences and support.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Living Brave Through Breast Cancer and Living Brave Home Health Care Services website, programs, events, educational resources, membership services, patient support services, or home care-related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services or participating in our programs.
2. About the Organization
Living Brave Through Breast Cancer is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and men facing breast cancer through support, education, advocacy, and community outreach.
Living Brave Home Health Care Services operates as a non-medical home care provider registered in the State of Michigan and extends the Living Brave mission through compassionate support services designed to help individuals maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Our mission is to build a sisterhood and a family of families while creating a compassionate network of support for individuals and families navigating health challenges and life transitions.
3. Membership and Service Participation
Membership in Living Brave Through Breast Cancer (TBC) may be available through referrals from healthcare providers, family members, friends, community organizations, or direct application.
Individuals recently diagnosed with breast cancer, survivors, caregivers, and those seeking emotional, educational, spiritual, or community support may apply to participate in programs and services.
Living Brave Home Health Care Services may provide non-medical support services through referrals, direct inquiries, and approved service processes.
Participation in Living Brave programs and services may require completion of applications, intake forms, service agreements, or additional documentation.
Members, clients, and participants are encouraged to actively participate in programs, educational opportunities, events, and support initiatives that strengthen our community.
4. Community Conduct
Members, clients, volunteers, caregivers, staff, and participants agree to conduct themselves respectfully and professionally.
Harassment, discrimination, threatening conduct, abusive behavior, or actions that disrupt a safe and supportive environment will not be tolerated.
Living Brave Through Breast Cancer and Living Brave Home Health Care Services reserve the right to suspend, remove, or discontinue participation or services when conduct violates these standards.
5. Events and Programs
The organization hosts support groups, community outreach initiatives, educational programs, wellness activities, patient support services, and special events including the Annual Early Detection Awareness (EDA) Symposium.
Living Brave Home Health Care Services may also offer community-based support resources, caregiver assistance programs, and non-medical support services.
Participation in events or services may require registration. Programs may be modified, postponed, or canceled when necessary.
6. Donations
Donations made to Living Brave Through Breast Cancer support nonprofit programming, outreach initiatives, educational resources, and community services.
As a registered nonprofit organization, donations may be tax deductible as permitted by law.
All donations are voluntary contributions and are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
7. Educational and Service Disclaimer
Information shared through our website, programs, support services, educational events, resources, and communications is intended for informational and support purposes only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Living Brave Home Health Care Services provides non-medical home care support and does not replace licensed medical treatment or emergency healthcare services.
Participants should consult qualified healthcare professionals regarding medical concerns or treatment decisions.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content, materials, logos, text, educational resources, images, graphics, and organizational materials related to Living Brave Through Breast Cancer and Living Brave Home Health Care Services are the property of the organization unless otherwise noted.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
9. Privacy
Living Brave Through Breast Cancer and Living Brave Home Health Care Services respect the privacy of members, clients, caregivers, families, volunteers, and supporters.
Information collected through membership applications, website interactions, patient support requests, service inquiries, intake forms, and communications will be used solely for organizational and service-related purposes and will not be sold or disclosed without authorization except as required by law.

Living Brave Through Breast Cancer, Living Brave Home Health Care Services, leadership, staff, volunteers, contractors, and community partners are not responsible for damages, losses, injuries, or claims resulting from participation in events, services, programs, or reliance on information provided through our organization.
Participation and use of services are voluntary and at the participant's discretion.
11. Changes to Terms
Living Brave Through Breast Cancer and Living Brave Home Health Care Services reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Changes become effective upon posting to the organization's website.
